Details
of my Experience: I'm not sure if my first
application went through so I am filling out this again. I
want to go a little more in detail about our experience. I
was going to go to a special needs shelter but by the time
we were ready they were all full. You see my son Joshua
has asthma, seizures, heart problems and several other conditions. anyway
we had to ride the storm out .We got the windows boarded
up and got settled. Hours passed and suddenly we heard a
loud sound over the house. the lights were out. the winds
were blowing so hard that my daughter had to put the
recliner against the door and sit in it. that chair went
to and fro. .We looked up at the ceiling and saw water
dropping down. Then we noticed the water running down the
wall and from the electrical and light switch. water
started coming from under the door. We had to grab towels
and whatever we could find in the dark. Finally when
daylight came and we could see better my neighbor knocked
on the door and said " Ms. Dale your roof is torn up.
As I looked up ii awe I couldn't believe how my roof
looked. It was as though a tornado had sat on top of only
my house. All of my neighbors houses were not hardly
touched. Well, I'm still working on my house because I am
disabled and a single mother. But thank God we made it out
alive. My children are suffering a lot of mental problems
so please pray
