The past 32 years at church has been so much fun.  From fellowships, to working at the church on many projects - Daddy always did everything perfect.  He always wanted God's House to look it's best and to be done right.  We had so many laughs and cries.  So many saved and taught how to live the right way.  Each service since he passed away has been so very hard.  But we feel his presence and are carrying on just as he would have wanted us to do.  We are bonding together like we never have.  He taught us the right way and we are determined to be a shining light in our community as we always have!
Fellowships were the best always!  No matter where they were held - we had a ball!  Always laughing and having the best of times! Daddy was so proud to put up our new steeple last summer.  The cross that sits on top and glows in the darkness is a perfect symbol of our church and our dedication to shine in a lost world.
The flower beds at church were so important to us all.  The beauty of the colors as you pass by are a sign of life and gorgeous handiwork of God! On Mom & Dad's 40th Anniversary this past August 2002 - Daddy surprised Mom with a ride leaving church in his newly restored 1957 Ford!  Just like the one they drove on their honeymoon!

Everyone shared in their love and happiness.  What a wonderful example to set before so many people!

The ladies of our church get together and quilt once a month - we have made many quilts and for Homecoming this past year - we decided to make a special quilt for Daddy and present it to him.  It was so perfect and he just about had a fit.  He loved quilts so much and the more old-fashioned the better!  We had so much fun making it and he was thrilled.  I think there were 16 of us who made the quilt.  It was even more special that he used it to cover up the entire time he was ill.  I believe that the comfort of the quilt - comforted him in such a peaceful way.

The fellowships!  What fun.  To Lancaster, PA - Pigeon Forge, TN - the Smokey Mountains ... we sure have had blessed times! And so many dinners at many of our houses!  What a pleasure each and every time ... good food and good fellowship!
Our men loved Daddy so very much.  They were his right arm in many ways.  They would laugh and tell jokes - and enjoy so many things together!
On the Anniversary of September 11 - Daddy brought his military vehicles to the church for a tribute to America.  It was so touching to the entire community!

an Independent Fundamental King James Bible Preaching Church

We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins
Ephesians 2:8-10

We believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God's power and are thus secure in Christ forever
John 6:37-40

We believe that all the saved should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Savior and Lord; and, that separation from all religious apostasy, all worldly and sinful pleasures, practices and associations is commanded of God
Romans 12:1-2

And we will stand for the same God given principles as long as the Lord tarries

The day I took this photo - just a little while after the men finished putting the new steeple up - I had no idea that I would use this photo for my Father's Funeral Service.  Placing Daddy's picture up above - is to show that He will always oversee our church and our people - and that He is exactly where he wants to be - in His Father's House!

Majesty, worship his majesty,
Unto Jesus be all glory, honor, and praise.
Majesty, kingdom authority flow from his throne unto his own;
His anthem raise.

So exalt, lift up on high the name of Jesus,
Magnify, come glorify Christ Jesus the King.
Majesty, worship his majesty;
Jesus who died, now glorified, King of all Kings.
