We remodled a new wearhouse to be able to house any victims from the past hurricanes. We have cubicles for families up to 6.We can house total up to 138 familes. Oug goal is to help the families in replacing thier lives. New Jobs, School, Clothing, and if needed they will have assess to medical doctors and Mental Health counselors. Additional Comments: If these people wanted to come out to california, we accept them. We do not have enough funds to bring them from there to here.This is a wonderful shelter designed in two weeks to be able to house people. In acomfortable, quitec almost home like enviorment,evan has a bath tub and many wonderfull things for kids to play with or read. We are also going to have an on site childrens afteernoon progra,for all ages. This is a shelter of its own. In our shelter people sleep on real beds instead of cots.

FEMA is doing their best to get camper to thousands of familes. The only problem is that the campers are so small they have no place to store the items they have received from relife groups ie: food, clothing, or a washing machine. Lets face it how many familes can live without a washing machine? the cost of a small shed will runabout $1,000.00 and alot of familes just don't have that kind of mone for a shed. We have built 30 of these sheds and deliverd then to the needest for familes. As we started this program people came from all over the county to apply for a shed, and shared many heart braking stories as why a simple shed would help their family. This task is more than our small group can do by ourself. our list contants over 130 familes. These are familes with children, eldery, handicap or sitll in tents waiting on their campers. What we needed is Volunteers, money to by supply for sheds, all money goes to buy materials. We need 60 people to come and help no experance necessary just willing to help people in need. our plan is to arrive at what we call "Camp Jesus" in bay St. Louis Ms. around Nov. 17 thur Nov. 22 to give this familes a special gift for thanksgiving. Our Cost is $450.00 per shed at home depot. They have been left out of all toy give aways in the parish. All the businesses and donors are totally strapped here and cannot donate anything else. We are in need of things the teens would like, such as makeup kits, mirrors, earrings, basket and footballs, goals, cd's, walkmans, and so forth. We have had one donation of $100.00 to help towards purchasing such items but with so many teens on our list it will be impossible to help everyone. We are also in need of personal care or hygeine items, sheets, blankets, heaters, new underwear all sizes men womens, boys and girls, socks, new shoes, coats of all sizes the list could go on forever.
